Trinka

Two of the latest necklaces I have created- discreet and delicate and made from very fine selected vintage lace/chiffon with embroidered and beaded details. These necklaces could look fabulous on bride, giving a sense of tender romance. I named the small collection after one special lady who inspired me. And the model is "little tiger".

Kaks viimast keed mis valmisid. Nõelutud eriti valitud paladest -shifoonist ja pitsitükkidest, pärlitest ja tikandist dekooriga. Tagasihoidlikud, õrnad ja romantilised sobivad nad kandmiseks nii õhtul kui päeval. Inspireeris mind Triin, kelle järele ka keed said nimetatud. Modelliks nagu ikka "tiigrike".

Sense of Spring

Here are more of those hand- stitched necklaces I am so inspired about to create lately- they carry more tender emotions and color hues. I could call them emotions- into- necklaces pieces. If I want to achieve more subtle color hues I have to let go the reasoning mind. And with joyous enough mood the little pieces of textile settle surprisingly comfortably into their rightful place.. I love that I do not know the final result, it is thrilling adventure.

Of course I could not resist to post some music which inspires me.

Veel mõned kevadisemad keed, pehme gamma ja kergemad emotsioonid. Olen täheldanud, et kui on soov saavutada värvikombinatsioonide rafineeritumaid lahendusi tuleb ratsionaalne meel vabaks lasta ja rohkem tunnetele keskenduda, see õnnestub paremini muusikat kuulates ja enda ümber meeleolu luues. Et tulemus pole teada, teeb protsessi iseäranis lummavaks.

Dark necklace

The latest necklace. Dark and dramatic yet with some soft touch of pink sparkle. It is intuitively hand- sewn from lace and chiffon pieces and embroidered with soft- pink pearls and black seed- beads. I am addicted to my mp3 player and often listen some music while stitching - recently I feel resonated with Bach's music again. Guess it reflects somehow at designs, too.

Viimatime kaelakee. Dramaatilisust mahendavad veidi heleroosad ja tumeda pronksi värvi detailid. Kee ise on - nagu ikka- tunde järgi valmis nõelutud pitsi ja shifoonitükkidest, pärlitest ja helmestest. Hiljutine Bach'i muusika kuulamine on oma jälje jätnud.

Some time ago when I did not have a blog yet I already knew that I would like to make a post about her once I have place for it. The designs she creates are so distinctive, full of joy and softness - and the color combinations are delicious, with true sense of beauty.

I absolutely adore the "Bridesehead Revisited" soundtrack. It is available through Amazon and there is more lovely music from this movie on this cd. The "Rain In Venice" is my other favorite from this cd.

One sunny day

The sunshine is very rare here during the winter. So when I am fortunate to see a glimpse of sun from time to time, I feel instantly very lively and often start to arrange my working space. Today I did some "cleaning up" in my computer- there are hundreds and hundreds of photos made over the years and waiting to be archived and written to the dvd. Many of them have been left aside and forgotten, but now they look inspiring when grouped after color/theme/sense. Here a little overview what I found from dark corners of my computer. An insight to world of surfaces, inspiration and moments captured- colors around. (These pictures are taken during 2003- 2007)

Päike on nii harv siin talviti. Ja kui siis üks heledam päev saabub tekib kohe isu enda ümber korda luua- korrastatud ruumis liiguvad ka head mõtted paremini. Täna kraamisin toa asemel arvutit- sajad fotod on juba tükk aega oodanud, et nad dvd peale kirjutataks. Niimoodi värvide ja meeleolude järele paigutatult on neid ilus vaadata- iga pildiga on ka mingi mälestus seotud- koht, aeg, meeleolu.. ( 2003- 2007 tehtud pildid siis)

Work in progress

These are fabric collage bags to be, I am working with. Small and colorful, they will be perfect for a favorite book to carry or for some smaller shopping purposes. Made entirely from recycled fabrics, a little shabby and rough look is combined with a perfected, hand- embroidered surface details here and there. The result is romantic and intuitive mix of serendipitous imperfection and attention to a detail. Images used on bags are from my Digital collages 2007.

Sellised väiksemat sorti tekstiili kollazhi- kotid, lemmikraamatu kaasas kandmiseks näiteks. Mul on selliseid endal paar- kolm tükki kuna on harjumus pooleliolevat lektüüri igale poole kaasa vedada. On vist jälle selline lugemise- periood käsil ja siis ka vastav inspiratsioon kohe platsis. Ühe neist kottidest jätan kindlasti omale, pole veel otsustanud millise. Et ei oleks kingsepp paljajalu..
